Some of what is on this site is open data you may reuse commercially. The rest is not. This page says which is which, because a licence that does not draw that line is not much use to either of us.
What you may reuse freely. The files published on our Press & Data page — the London practice census and the London dental price index — are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, redistribute, adapt and build upon them for any purpose, including commercially, provided you credit DentistFees and, where practical, link to the source page.
That licence covers those published files and the aggregate figures in them. It does not extend to any other part of this website.
How to credit us. Data from DentistFees — https://dentistfees.co.uk. For figures from the price index, please state the month of publication: fees change, and an undated figure misleads your readers.
All other content on this website is © 2026 DentistFees and all rights are reserved. That includes, without limitation: the per-practice fee tables on individual practice pages; the treatment taxonomy and category names; the provenance and verification notes attached to each figure; our editorial guides; and the design and code of this site.
Third-party material we reproduce under separate terms is identified where it appears. Care Quality Commission and NHS Organisation Data Service information is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0, and NHS charges are published by the Department of Health and Social Care.
The database. The compilation of practice records and verified fee data on this website is a database in which DentistFees has made a substantial investment in obtaining, verifying and presenting the contents. It is protected by database right under the Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997.
Extraction. Except as permitted by the CC BY 4.0 licence above, you may not extract or re-utilise all or a substantial part of the contents of that database, and you may not repeatedly and systematically extract or re-utilise insubstantial parts in a way that conflicts with our normal exploitation of it or unreasonably prejudices our legitimate interests.
Automated access. Automated collection of practice pages — crawling, scraping, or any equivalent process — is permitted for search engines and answer engines indexing the site for citation, in accordance with our robots.txt. Any other automated collection requires our prior written permission, which we grant readily for research and journalism: write to us.
Every private fee on this site was read from a source named on the row it appears in — the practice's own published fee guide, or a public directory listing. We do not estimate, model or borough-adjust a price, and a practice with no readable fee guide carries no price here.
Fees change and pages go stale. Figures on this site are a guide for comparison, not a quotation, and are not advice. Always confirm the price with the practice before booking. NHS band charges are set nationally by the Department of Health and Social Care and are the only dental prices on this site that do not vary by practice.
We are not a dental practice, a lender or a financial adviser. We do not arrange treatment, take bookings, accept payment from practices for placement, or refer patients overseas. If you believe a figure attributed to your practice is wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove it.
